Press & Marketing Assistant
Contract: April - September

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and get involved in all aspects of promoting a world-class festival. The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential, as is an enthusiastic and flexible can-do attitude, an eye for detail and superb organisational and communication skills.
Press Officer
Contract: May - September
Closing date: Mon 8 March
As one of the Edinburgh International Book Festival’s busy press team you will work on a variety of campaigns to maximise positive media coverage of the world’s largest Book Festival. Ideally you will have 3 years experience in an event-based PR role with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential, as is an enthusiastic and flexible can-do attitude.
Short-term temporary staff
We have a range of short-term temporary positions available and we start recruiting for these in April. Please don't send in speculative CVs as we are unable to keep them on file. The areas for which we will be recruiting range from Front of House, Box Office, Authors' Reception, Book Sales, Book Warehouse and Sponsorship.
