What your support can do:

£10 would help us to subsidise the cost of tickets to children’s events, keeping them at £5 each.

£15 would allow a prisoner to take part in a group activity session with an author or artist, offering opportunities to engage with the joy of books, reading, writing and conversation, helping them feel less isolated and enabling them to make their stories heard.

£33 would power the Book Festival site for one hour in August.

£150 would provide British Sign Language interpretation for an event featuring an author and interviewer.

£175 would provide live captioning for one live-streamed event.

£220 would cover an author’s appearance fee at our August Festival or events throughout the year.

£220 would facilitate a community group session for people of all backgrounds with one of our writers in residence as part of our year-round work, exploring local themes and concerns through story-telling and writing.

£2000 would fund 10 sessions of work with young people who have been excluded from mainstream education, trying to engage them with poetry and the spoken word helping them to find their own voice and support them towards positive destinations.

Thank you.
