Mystery paper sculptures found again at Edinburgh International Book Festival
12 months to the day since the mysterious paper sculptures were dropped off at the Edinburgh International Book Festival and the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust, the anonymous sculptor has visited the Festival again. Book Shop staff at the Book Festival have reported finding a number of delicate and beautiful paper flowers dropped around the site this morning.
The flowers, each slightly different, come with a note and a quote from Oscar Wilde: ‘….. freedom, books, flowers and the moon.‘ and on the reverse 'A Gift For You' and a limited edition number of /50.
A spokesperson for the Book Festival said ‘We are delighted that our mystery paper sculptor has visited us again, and thrilled that members of the public are finding these beautiful flowers around our site. We certainly haven’t found 50 yet, so there must still be more to discover.‘
