Arusa Qureshi: Joyful Defiance

The creativity and vibrancy of Scotland's contemporary arts scene owes much to the women leading the charge – those fostering change, making noise, and refusing to bow down or give in to archaic structures. Join writer and Fest editor Arusa Qureshi for an evening of bold words, inspiring music, and joyful defiance, featuring some of Scotland's finest and freshest voices. Alongside Qureshi will be poet and screenwriter Leyla Josephine, singer/songwriter Becky Sikasa, and feminist rap group The Honey Farm
