With stops throughout the city to examine its architectural heritage, Williams illuminates the role of Scots in slavery and colonialism from a Caribbean perspective. She shares stories of Black people with heritage across the globe who visited and lived in Edinburgh, their ongoing influence on the city, and remarkable legacies.
