Take a deep dive into the first volume of Refugee Tales, the product of a collaboration between authors and refugee charity the Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group, which sends volunteers to speak to the hundreds of people held at the airport’s detention centres. Marion Turner, Chaucer biographer and author of The Wife of Bath, guides readers through this modern-day Canterbury Tales. This workshop is suitable for those with existing knowledge of Refugee Tales and for those new to this work.
