Marjorie Lotfi and Claire Urquhart are the founders of Open Book, a charity which organises shared reading and creative writing groups across Scotland. Here, they take a deep dive into Claudia Rankine’s 2014 collection of poetry and essays, Citizen. This session is the perfect introduction to Rankine’s work ahead of her appearance at this year’s Book Festival with her new book, Plot. Expect an open discussion from the start – no preparation required.
