In her deeply moving, A Life of One’s Own, the lives of nine women writers are brought to light and interwoven with Biggs’ own experiences. She questions themes of conventional domesticity, love and womanhood. In this workshop, it is only fitting that Biggs takes a deep dive into Norman Rush's Mating, set in an experimental women-only utopia, an intelligent female lead, and questions over societal norms.
