Two poets reflect on the need for compassion in selfish times. Can words bring light to our ‘forlorn planet’? Tomorrow’s Feast by Gerda Stevenson draws on Scots, Gaelic, and English to create insightful, tender poems. Meanwhile, in Origin, J L Williams explores the complexities of creating a new life in poems appealing to ‘all people who have entered through that small crack into the light of this life’.
