In her poignant and powerful picture books, My Name is Not Refugee and It’s a No-Money Day, author and illustrator Kate Milner gives children an insight into the reality of many modern families from the point of view of their young peers. Kate brings her stories alive in this topical event full of live drawing and reading. Make sure you have your own pencil and paper ready as you’ll be doing your own drawing based on the stories.
This is a live event and the author will be on stage, in the venue. After the event, Kate Milner will be doing an in-person book signing on the Festival site.
