One of the great poets of our times, Linton Kwesi Johnson has been highly influential in reflecting and understanding modern Britain. The publication of Time Come, a prose collection, demonstrates that his non-fiction voice is equally powerful and persuasive. Drawing on Johnson’s Jamaican roots and on wider Caribbean history, these writings offer an essential perspective on culture, politics, and ideas over the past half century. Chaired by Zaffar Kunial.
