Malorie Blackman’s memoir Just Sayin’ is the inspirational account of her lifelong ambition to be a writer, and how that dream was realised despite the significant challenges posed by societal racism, and a pessimistic diagnosis of sickle cell anaemia in her thirties. Join us to learn how a bookish young girl from south London became one of the country’s most beloved authors in conversation with Nadine Aisha Jassat.
