Grief is something that we learn to live with in our own ways. Rob Delaney is a comedian and star of Catastrophe. He is also the father of Henry, who died after being diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was two. Somehow amidst the furious pain, Delaney has written a memoir that is infused with humour and honesty. A Heart That Works is a testament to his craft as a writer, and his capacity as a person to share his story. He talks with Max Porter about writing and purpose.
