Sarah Polley: What I Run Towards Will Strengthen Me

The 2023 Oscar-winning film adaptation of Miriam Toews’s novel Women Talking has brought its director Sarah Polley international attention. Alongside it the Toronto-based writer-director has written Run Towards the Danger, a collection of essays about her life. From making peace with her early life to the challenging process of recovering from an intense concussion, Polley joins us remotely to discuss her work and ideas. In conversation with Jackie Wylie.
