Shushan Avagyan & Sophie Cunningham: Imagined Encounters

What does it mean to translate history? Where do the boundaries between the past and the present lie? And what happens when a writer slips through these supposedly rigid lines? These questions and more are explored in Shushan Avagyan’s poetic work of translated autofiction, A Book, Untitled, and Sophie Cunningham’s This Devastating Fever, a novel which brings Leonard Woolf and Y2K together in dazzling ways. Chaired by Catherine Wilson.

Please note: Shushan Avagyan will now be appearing remotely.
