Sunday Salon: Ira Sachs, Brandon Taylor and Kate Taylor

We're better together, so join the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the Edinburgh Art Festival, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival for our new Sunday Salon series. Each Sunday afternoon, a lineup of artists working across literature, film, and art discuss the finer details of their work and practice in an intimate setting. The Sunday Salon series is designed for a closer look at the work of some of the most exciting guests across the festivals to finish your week. See edbookfest.co.uk for more details.

Ira Sachs is in Edinburgh to present his latest film Passages, a daring, nuanced love-lust triangle that explores how narcissism can feed into creativity even as it causes relationships to implode. Join Sachs alongside Brandon Taylor – cultural essayist and author of The Late Americans – as they talk queer cinema, representations of intimacy, and the art that’s currently fuelling them. Chaired by Edinburgh International Film Festival Programme Director Kate Taylor.
