Stripped Mini Comic Fair line-up announced
Some of the most exciting creators in Scottish independent comics will showcase their work at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this August.
Stripped – the Book Festival’s celebration of comics, graphic novels and the people who create them – is a major strand of events at this year’s Festival featuring the finest names in the industry including Neil Gaiman, Melinda Gebbie, Joe Sacco and Chris Ware.
As part of the celebration, the Stripped Mini Comic Fair will shine a spotlight on the breadth and diversity of Scotland’s vibrant comics scene with an impressive list of independent comics creators lining-up to exhibit and sell their creations.
Names due to appear include Team Girl Comic, Neil Slorance, Edward Ross and Black Hearted Press.
The Stripped Mini Comic Fair will take place in 5 Charlotte Square, just across the street from the Gardens, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August and entry is free.
Stripped is supported by the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund.
