Teachers, educators, young readers... welcome to the Schools programme!
Picture this: dozens of buses rolling up, thousands of little footsteps entering venues, the joyful whoops and hollers of young minds learning and having a great time. The Schools programme days are some of our favourite each August. From full class outings to home-based students, we'd love to have your young learners join us.

2026 Schools programme
The 2026 Schools programme will take place Monday 24 to Friday 28 August 2026.
Grab your diaries - we'll announce the programme on Thursday 23 April, with booking opening on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
Check back here from Thursday 23 April to view our Schools brochure and discover all that will be on offer.
And don't forget that if you can't attend in person, you can still enjoy the festival from your classroom by booking in to a livestreamed event.
