USA giving
Help international voices reach our stages

The Book Festival is about connections across the world. With your support, we can continue to champion emerging voices and world-class thinkers.
Each year we proudly champion the American authors and speakers who appear on our stages and share their perspectives on their country, and the world around them. Equally, we love welcoming the many American audience members who make the journey to Edinburgh or tune in online.
Gifts from supporters based across the pond help these transatlantic relationships thrive.
We've partnered with the Chapel & York US Foundation to enable American donors to make tax-deductible gifts via a registered 501(c)(3). Alternatively, we’re registered with CAFAmerica.
International is in our name – help us stretch further with a gift
Making a tax-efficient gift is easy. You can donate below, write us a cheque, send us a wire transfer or gift us stocks and shares. Whichever you pick, a tax receipt will be provided.
Please note, donations made via Chapel & York US Foundation do not enable advance booking for tickets. If this is of interest to you, you can also sign-up to our Friends, Friends+ or Champion Memberships. You can become a Member no matter where you are based in the world, but Membership payments are not tax-deductible.
Make a one-time donation or support us regularly
All gifts make a difference, even if they are just made once. Alternatively, donating regularly doubles the difference you can make, as it adds to our security as a charity as well as our funds.
If you'd like to give now to support us in our work to celebrate and spread the joys of reading, writing, books and ideas, you can do so below (and it's totally up to you how much you'd like to donate!):
Gift in other ways from the USA
There are other ways to make your gift - via cheque, wire transfer or by gifts of stocks and shares. We welcome your gift, whichever way you choose to give it.
