S J Naudé

S J Naudé is an author whose work is published in Afrikaans, English and Dutch.

He studied law at Cambridge University and Columbia Law School and worked as a lawyer in New York and London for many years.

Since turning his hand to writing, he has authored a collection of short stories, The Alphabet of Birds, and a novel, The Third Reel, for which he has won several literary prizes. His work has also appeared in Granta and a number of international journals.

He currently lives in Johannesburg.
