Chris Bryant: A Life Less Ordinary

Winner of the 2020 Parliamentary Book Award for Best Non-Fiction and the first MP to celebrate his civil partnership in the Palace of Westminster, Chris Bryant brings his candid new memoir, A Life and a Half, to this year’s Festival. From his years as an Anglican priest to his upbringing with an alcoholic mother, Bryant doesn’t shy away from the challenges of his life. He joins us to discuss the darkness, joy, and headiness of his formative years.
