In Black Earth Rising – a compelling anthology of African, Latin American, and Native American artists – writer and broadcaster Ekow Eshun interweaves colonialism, climate crisis, and contemporary art. Meanwhile, London School of Economics associate professor Imaobong Umoren’s Empire Without End is an astute study of Britain’s involvement in the Caribbean, presenting her latest research on colonialism and empire.
