Miriam Toews: Can Words Repair?

A Truce That Is Not Peace is the first time Miriam Toews has published a non-fiction work about her own life. The work remakes her world through literary form and proposes the question: how far can words reach? Today, Toews is joined by Marjorie Lotfi, author of The Wrong Person to Ask, to discuss the potential of language – as a salve, an answer, and a way to help us through. Chaired by Amina Shah.
