Nussaibah Younis & Leor Zmigrod: The Science (and Art) of Radicalisation

What goes on in a fundamentalist’s head? The authors of two very different books try to answer this question today. In The Ideological Brain, award-winning writer and neuroscientist Leor Zmigrod explains the science behind susceptibility to radicalisation. Meanwhile, Women’s Prize-shortlisted novel Fundamentally by Dr Nussaibah Younis (a globally recognised expert on contemporary Iraq), used her research and experience to write what The Times call ‘Bridget Jones in Iraq’.
