Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Half of a Yellow Sun, Americanah)’s feverishly anticipated new novel, Dream Count, has been a decade in the making, and follows the interconnected lives of four immigrant women between Nigeria and the US wrangling with the direction their lives have, and haven’t, taken. A powerful exploration of sisterhood, solidarity, and fulfilment, Adichie offers an insight into her transcendent, powerful work, and how the choices we make – or which are made for us – can cast a longer shadow than we might ever expect.
