The masterful Ian McEwan is one of our greatest living writers, creating modern classics including Atonement, Enduring Love, On Chesil Beach, Amsterdam, The Children Act, and Saturday. Ahead of the highly anticipated publication of his new novel, What We Can Know, McEwan reflects on a truly remarkable career which has produced so many works which are at once timeless and yet always remain in close conversation with current affairs, and looks towards to the stories he has yet to tell. Chaired by author and critic Erica Wagner.
Copies of Ian McEwan’s new book 'What We Can Know' are available to pre-order with your ticket. Please note that this book is not released until 18 September. Pre-ordered books will be posted to your mailing address by our retail partner Waterstones when the book is released in September. Unfortunately, we are not able to post books to addresses outside the UK.
There will be a signing with Ian McEwan after the event where book plates will be available to insert into a copy of 'What We Can Know'. Up to one additional book can also be signed at this event.
