As the war in Ukraine continues, The Ukraine Shelf podcast brings together leading authors, scholars, and journalists for lively and informed discussions about what we should be reading to better understand Ukraine and its place in the world during this crucial period. This special live edition is hosted by the podcast's creators Olesya Khromeychuk (author The Death of a Soldier Told By His Sister and director of the Ukraine Institute London) and literary translator and Ukraine scholar, Uilleam Blacker. Today they are joined by international lawyer and author Philippe Sands.
