Lines are the building blocks of poems. How can these fleeting, patterned, often skimmable units of time contain worlds upon worlds in a matter of three, maybe four feet? Join poet and performer Oluwaseun Olayiwola to practise new methods of line generation and revision as we train our minds to sit with uncertainty and ambiguity, exploring different methods of undoing (rhythmically, syntactically, tonally, visually) and enacting compressive force when lines ‘eat’ other lines.
This workshop is for poets of intermediate or advanced experience.
