Presented by Edinburgh Futures Institute’s creative projects team. Poet Jennifer Williams, visual artist Jimmy Turner, and academic Jo Balfour-Oatts invite you to consider impractical repairs of material objects. Exploring how we can repair objects with creative writing and sculpture, we’ll investigate how artistic and embodied ideas and techniques can help us to imagine positive futures, affecting present change. Please bring along a broken object with personal significance that you’d like to repair in this way.
