Join in World Book Night
Do you love a book so much you want everyone to read it? The first ever World Book Night will take place on Sat 5 March 2011, two days after World Book Day. One million books will be given away by an army of passionate readers to members of the public across the UK and Ireland – and you could be one of them!
World Book Night needs an army of book lovers to help – and is asking thousands of people to give away copies of their chosen book from the World Book Night list of books on 5th March. If you’d like to help, all you have to do is describe in 100 words which book you’d like to give and why, and how you’d distribute your copies. In return, you will become a founder member of World Book Night, play a key role in the build up to 5th March, share your experience with the other book givers via a unique social network, maybe even meet your chosen author (if living!) and quite possibly change someone’s life.
