David Keenan: Adventures in the Underground

Following the success of the Fringe Firstwinning show, This is Memorial Device, at our 2022 Book Festival, Gordon Burn Prize-winner David Keenan is back with new book, Volcanic Tongue. As a musician and former member of Telstar Ponies, Keenan has always interwoven music through his books. This collection brings together his influential writing about revolutionary late 20 th century music makers. Keenan joins us tonight for a spirited, sharp conversation about Volcanic Tongue and the music that influences him.
