Someone once said that ‘poetry is plucking at the heartstrings, and making music with them’ – Esther Swift is, quite literally, the embodiment of this sentiment. A mesmerising harpist, she has set her eclectic, celestial music to the luminous poetry of the beloved Jackie Kay, Makar of Scotland from 2016 to 2021. Come and have your life heart-burstingly affirmed.
