New event announced: another chance to see Julia Donaldson
She’s one of our most popular children’s authors and a firm favourite with Book Festival audiences so we are absolutely thrilled that Julia Donaldson is putting on an additional show to give her thousands of fans another opportunity to see her award-winning picture books brought to life.
Due to popular demand the Children’s Laureate has confirmed a new event at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Sunday 19 August at 10am. The show will feature an array of Julia’s famously loveable characters including The Highway Rat, The Singing Mermaid and possibly even the Gruffalo.
With lots of singing, performance and plenty of chances to join in, this will be another of Julia Donaldson’s exuberant and unforgettable Book Festival appearances. If you didn’t manage to get hold of tickets to her other Book Festival events, which all sold out very quickly, don’t miss your chance now – we expect tickets to sell quickly.
