Leave a Lasting Legacy by remembering the Book Festival in your Will

Since its inception in 1983, the Edinburgh International Book Festival has grown into the most important festival of its kind in Scotland and internationally. Children who met their favourite author in the early days have grown up and continued to be inspired by the authors and ideas they encounter year after year. Now they bring their own children to meet their storytelling heroes. We wish to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy and be inspired by our world class events.

By remembering the Book Festival in your Will, you will be helping us to continue investing in the world of words, bringing authors and audiences together to celebrate a love of reading and literature.
