Memberships

A membership for the Edinburgh International Book Festival is a great way to enjoy a closer relationship with the world’s finest celebration of the written word, while receiving exclusive benefits. 
Whichever level of membership suits you, you will also support the Book Festival to stay resilient and strong and enable us to build vital connections between audiences and authors, allowing the exchange of ideas and intelligent, thoughtful discussion.

 

From time to time we will be able to send our members additional discounts and offers by email, including from relevant third parties.
 
Memberships last for one year from the date of purchase and you will be sent a reminder to renew your annual membership over a month before it is due to expire. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit, your membership will renew automatically, unless you tell us otherwise. We aim to send out confirmation letters and membership cards within couple of weeks after your renewal. 
 

Gift Memberships

If you would like to purchase a membership as a gift, please do so over the phone by calling our Development team on 0131 718 5653. Please order by Wednesday 17 December 2025 to allow enough time for your gift to arrive before Christmas (within the UK). You can also call this number if you wish to purchase a membership for yourself.
